System Engineer

Primary Responsibilities of Position

As part of the IT team, the System Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day IT operations of all retail stores and back office.

System/Network Administration

  • Oversee and upkeep the maintenance of Windows server, Microsoft AD, Outlook 365.
  • Administration and configuration of servers and network infrastructure comprising switches, routers, firewalls, and other components.
  • Establish/Setup network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput and latency; defining network policies, firewall rules, and procedures.
  • Secure network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, maintaining backup logs, verifying the integrity on hardware, server resources, and systems.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Cyber Security Support

  • Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.
  • Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.
  • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits and maintaining regular checks.

L1/L2 Business Support

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
  • Proven track record with Microsoft Technologies: Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office365 Exchange. Having CompTIA Network+ and MCSE certification would be a bonus.
  • Good knowledge of VMware and/or Hyper-V, backup and recovery, Citrix or Remote Desktop Services.

Primary Responsibilities of Position

  • Demonstrate proper use of skin care products

  • Advise customers on skincare, prices and special offers

Requirements

Senior Accountant / Accountant

Primary Responsibilities of Position

  • As part of the Accounts team, the Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager.
  • Supervise 2 direct reports and 5 indirect reports.
  • Perform & co-ordinate month end closing of accounts including review of billings and postings of journals and ensure completeness, accuracy and timely closing of accounts.
  • Responsible for timely preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reports to Management.
  • Perform monthly analysis of financial reports against budget and previous years actuals.
  • Responsible for stock provision preparation.
  • Review month end audit schedules prepared by the Accounts Executive.
  • Maintain fixed asset register & perform cost maintenance.
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable team (foreign currency invoices) and handle banking-relate matters with banks.
  • Liaison with external auditors as part of the year end annual audit including timely preparation of Audited Financial Statements / Reports.
    Assist in the preparation of budgets for review by Management.
  • Handle tax related matters in the area of Corporate & GST tax.
  • Handle ad-hoc matters & projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy / ACCA.
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience including min 2 years in a Public Accounting firm.
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS & Singapore taxation.
  • Prior experience in the retail industry will be a bonus.

  • Direct and oversee the finance team.
  • Responsible for final preparation and review of monthly financial statements / management reports.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly deadline for submission of management accounts to Regional Finance.
  • Train and supervise the following team;
    Accounts Payable – Local and Overseas
    Stock – reconciliation, planning annual stock take, costing.
    General Ledger – journal entries
  • Review and sign off balance sheet schedules
  • Review and sign off bank reconciliation statements
    Liaisng with External Auditors on Financial Year end audit.
  • Working with tax agents on all tax submission and related matters.
  • Review quarterly GST submissions.
  • Preparation of yearly budget and rolling forecast.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy / ACCA.
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience.
  • People manager experience is a must.
  • Have prior experience working in audit firms.
  • Experience in the retail industry preferred.
Head Chef (cafe)

Primary Responsibilities of Position

  • Manage restaurant operations such as kitchen and stewarding is supervised to achieve profitability.
  • Involvement in preparation of annual operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure that the restaurant’s overall operational budgets are strictly adhered to.
  • Ensure that all recipes and product yields are accurately costed and reviewed on a regular base.
  • Ensure that all food items and dishes are prepared according to standard recipe whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure that inventories of consumable stock levels are at sufficient quantity and quality in relevance to the restaurant occupancy forecasts.
  • Involvement in R&D for new menu and dishes.
  • Responsible for Selection, Recruitment, training and mentoring of the culinary team.
  • Ensure that weekly work schedule is administered and executed properly to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Ensure guests are always receiving exceptional dining experience representing true value for money.
  • Setting a high standard of careful and meticulous food quality through demanding and constructively critical in food preparation, presentation and service standards.
  • Ensure hygiene & cleanliness of the food and kitchen operations at industry standards.
